As a valued hair extension technician at Lush Hair Folk Salon, you will be responsible for creating seamless, beautiful hair transformations for our diverse clientele. Your day-to-day responsibilities will encompass:
- Client Consultation & Matching: Conducting thorough consultations to understand client desires, assess hair health, and expertly color-match extensions for a natural blend.
- Diverse Extension Applications: Proficiently installing various hair extension methods, including hand-tied wefts, tape-ins, keratin bonds, I-Tips, and clip-ins, adhering to best practices for durability and client comfort.
- Blending & Styling Expertise: Skillfully blending and cutting extensions to integrate seamlessly with the client’s natural hair, followed by professional styling to achieve the desired look.
- Maintaining Workstation Hygiene: Ensuring your private suite and tools are meticulously sanitized and organized for a clean and safe client experience.
- Client Education: Educating clients on proper hair extension care and maintenance to ensure longevity and satisfaction.
- Product Recommendations: Recommending and upselling premium hair care products designed for extension wearers.
Hair Extension Technician Qualifications & Skills
We are seeking a licensed extension technician with a strong commitment to quality and client satisfaction. Ideal candidates for professional hair extension careers at Lush Hair Folk will possess:
- A valid and active Texas Cosmetology License.
- Demonstrated experience with multiple hair extension methods; experience with Bellami extensions is highly preferred.
