Do you take walk-in appointments?
Currently we do not, our busy little salon is often buzzing with activity and doesn’t have empty chairs. We encourage you to schedule beforehand, since it 100% guarantees us the time needed for the service wanted. You can book your appointment at lushhairfolk.com/book-appointment.
How do I cancel or reschedule my appointment?
You can reschedule or cancel your appointment by clicking the link in the reminder text message you received. Providing outstanding service is the core of our business. Because our services are reserved especially for you, we ask that you notify us 24 hours in advance to change or cancel appointments without penalty. You will be charged the cost of the service booked for “no call no shows”.
Will I receive a reminder prior to my appointment?
48 hours before your appointment you will receive a text. By clicking the appropriate link in the text, you can let us know that you received our text and that we can expect to see you at your appointment.
Is there a consultation fee?
There is a $50 fee for the consultation but we add it on to your next appointment if you chose Lush Hair Folk as your salon. If you chose not to make your next appointment with us than the consultation is complementary since we were not able to 100% satisfy your needs.
How early or late can I arrive for my appointment?
On the day of your appointment please arrive on time (we prefer 10 minutes early) to relax and enjoy your full service. If you are running late, we will do everything we can to accommodate you. If you are excessively late, please be aware that we may have to reschedule your appointment.
Do you have Early Appointments or Late Appointments?
If we have a spot available, we will post it on our Instagram and Facebook stories for anyone to book with us, so it is a first come first serve.
Are reservations necessary?
We only take reservations in advance, but feel free to call on short notice, as we may have an opening or cancellation. A credit card will be necessary to hold your reservation.
What is your cancellation policy?

What happens if I am late for my appointment can you accommodate late arrivals?
We understand Houston has crazy traffic hours, if you are more than 15 minutes late, you may not get the full service you reserved, but please call to notify of delays and we will try our best to honor your appointment.
Can I book extra services while I am at the salon?
Absolutely, please ask! We will always try to accommodate your wishes, although we do recommend that you book your treatments in advance.
When should I book my next follow up appointment?
To ensure that you get the date and time that you need, we recommend booking your next appointment before you leave our salon. For haircut appointments, we suggest coming back every 8 to 12 weeks. For color touch-ups, we suggest 4 to 6 weeks. For highlights, we suggest 6 to 8 weeks. For balayage, we suggest 8 to 12 weeks. For Brazilian Blowouts we suggest 3 to 4 months.
Do you have a service guarantee policy?
If you are not satisfied with our service, please notify us while at the salon and we will try our best to meet your expectations.
What can I expect from my service provider during my salon treatment?
Angel will consult with you prior to the service to find out your goals and preferences, and can make recommendations if appropriate. Angel will let you know what to expect, and will find out if you have any special needs or concerns. As well as provide wonderful services to give you extra-special treatment during your appointment. We understand your need for care and safety, and make accommodations if necessary.
Can I wear makeup during my appointment?
Baby YES! always look your best so you can feel the best.
What should I wear for a salon treatment?
No special clothing is required; come as you are! If you are enjoying several services, you will be provided with a robe. Your personal comfort is always most important to us!
